How Long Can I Hire For?

As long as you would like, here at IAE we are flexible with your needs.


We have a 7-day minimum rental period, although equipment can be returned
sooner if needed.

If you hire for 4 weeks, we will give you 1 week free on mobile towers &
podiums only, both sides must agree before hiring.

There is no limit on hire periods.

I’m Not Sure What Type Of Access Equipment I Require?

If you are unsure about heights, dimensions, or the best access solution for you, we will be happy to assist you.


Call us on 01443 716925 and one of our team members will be able to advise you on the best
and safest solution for working at heights.  

If an option cannot be provided over the phone, we can arrange for a site visit
within 24-48 hours.  

Can You Install Access For Me?

We most certainly can.  

Because each project and requirement is unique, please contact us to arrange a
site visit with one of our team members.  

Once completed, we will provide a no-obligation quotation before proceeding with access installation to ensure you are satisfied with the aerial option and price provided.  

When Can I Collect My Order?

Once your order has been confirmed with our team, you will be sent a notification for collection.

Can I Return My Order Earlier & Will I Get A Refund?

You may return your order earlier than specified by notifying one of our team members and informing us of which depot you intend to return equipment to and when you intend to do so.


There will be no refunds for early returns.  

Do You Require A Deposit For My Order?

Yes, a deposit is equal to two weeks' hire is charged for all equipment.

This is refunded when the equipment is returned, minus the hire cost. 

Do I Need To Provide Any Form Of ID?

You'll need to produce two forms of identification before any delivery or collection (one photographic and one
proof of address).

Your branch team will contact you to coordinate this.

1 x photo ID, such as a passport or driver's licence.

Your photo id must be a passport
or driver's license, and proof of address must be a credit/debit card or a utility bill (dated within the last six weeks).

If you do not provide identification, your order may be delayed.

When Will My Order Be Delivered Or Collected?

A delivery and pickup slot will be assigned to you by one of our team members at the time of hire.

Please ensure that a site
contact is accessible at the time of delivery or collection to guarantee that the products are signed off properly.  

Who Is Responsible For Equipment When On Hire?

All components delivered during the hire term are the responsibility of the hirer until they are returned, examined, and signed off by an IAE staff member.  


All costs and expenses relating to: repairing any damage to the Equipment (fair wear and tear excepted) that occurred during the period when the Equipment was at the Hirer's risk; and cleaning the Equipment following collection of the Equipment, in order to return the Equipment to a fit for rehire condition.

IAE will confirm such charges and expenses to the Hirer, subject to supporting evidence. 


Furthermore, the Hirer will continue to pay the Charges until any repairs or cleaning are completed; and the replacement cost in respect of lost or stolen
Equipment and/or Equipment that is beyond economic repair, and the Hirer will continue to pay the Charges until the replacement cost is received by IAE. 

Who Is Responsible For Equipment If It Is Lost Or Stolen?

During the hire time, the hirer is liable for all components on hire.

If any parts are lost or stolen, the hirer must immediately notify IAE so that a police report can be filed with the local police station.

Until the hirer and IAE have reached an agreement, the onus is on the hirer.

Before the order may be closed, all charges and equipment must be returned to IAE Hire.
